Song of India is a plant native to the Indian Ocean, and that’s where it gets its name from. The plant's tall, slender stems, and its dual color and glossy texture actually make it a great choice to add greenery and color to one’s home. So, don’t think twice and add it to your plant collection.

🔆 Sunlight: Song of India needs bright indirect light. Intense direct light tends to burn the leaves, and low light will cause the plant’s yellow-lime stripe feature to fade.

💦 Water: This plant enjoys humidity. Water twice a week or when the topsoil is dry to the touch.

🪴 Fertiliser: Feed the plant with diluted basic houseplant food during its growing season.

✂️ Pruning: Song of India does not usually require pruning, but to avoid leggy or long growth, it can be trimmed from the base where it protrudes from another stem.

🌱 Propagation: Propagate this plant in spring when it's actively growing and take cuttings to help your plant grow fuller. Each cutting can be used to grow a new plant.
