So, here’s the plant that we all thought as kids would grow money for us. Well, sorry to break the myth, but a money plant can’t grow money for us; however, it sure can be placed in the right direction at home as per Vastu and Feng Shui to attract wealth.

Origin: Southeast Asia

🔆 Sunlight: These plants can survive in low light, but to ensure healthy and fast growth, keep them in a well-lit space, preferably near a window.

💦 Water: Water twice a week or when the topsoil is dry to the touch. During winters, reduce the frequency of watering but don’t allow the topsoil to dry out completely.

🪴 Fertiliser: A compost or seaweed solution can be used once a month to fertilise the plant.

✂️ Pruning: Money plants produce dead and dry leaves all year, but spring and summer are the best periods to restore shape and set the plant's growth direction. 

🌱 Propagation: New plants can be easily propagated in soil or water through stem cuttings taken from the mother plant.
