Rasgulla is a sweet, the origins of which has been fought over bitterly by the states of Odisha and West Bengal. Finally, the Geographical Indications (GI) registry announced that the rosogolla (also known as rasgulla) originated in West Bengal, and not in Odisha!
According to the West Bengal government, the rosogolla was invented by Nabin Chandra Das, a famous sweetmeat maker, in 1868 in their state.
Rasgulla is a South Asian syrupy dessert popular in the entire country, and even popular all around the world where you find Indians! Rasgullas are ball-shaped dumplings cooked in light syrup made of sugar. This is done until the syrup permeates the dumplings.

It was good to have the feel of any Indian mithai after so long knowing it's dairy free! I look forward to more gluten and dairy free sweets.
The same experience as the laddoos. The taste needs to improve a lot. I'm happy you'll make this. Very grateful but all vegan stuff tastes really nice. Not sure why the sweets you're making is really bad in taste.
