Ecotyl’s Virgin Coconut Oil is prepared by cold- pressing fresh coconuts. This means that the oil is unrefined, and it’s extracted without application of heat. This helps in retaining its nutritive properties. It has no harmful chemicals in it which are generally added to oils. It’s considered an excellent cooking oil for food preparations that require medium heat sauteing and baking. Virgin coconut oil is considered an ideal carrier oil like many essential oils that have several health and skin applications.
