This mock meat dish features Good Dot Proteiz. It’s a great, delicious way to incorporate more protein and calcium in your diet. Simple and easy to prepare, it’ll make for an unforgettable meal!
What You’ll Need:
- 100 g Good Dot Proteiz
- 4 Tablespoons Emkay vegan ghee
- 3 finely chopped onions
- 2 finely chopped tomatoes
- ½ chopped yellow bell pepper (capsicum)
- ½ chopped red bell pepper (capsicum)
- ½ chopped green bell pepper (capsicum)
- 2 teaspoon chili powder
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon garam masala
- 2 chopped green chilies
- Salt as per taste
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Instructions
- Add 100g proteiz into 1 litre of water and boil it for 8-9 minutes
- Drain out the water, let proteiz cool and squeeze the excess water from it. Then, chop into small pieces
- Heat Emkay vegan ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds and chopped chilies
- Add chopped onions and fry it for 2-3 minutes
- Add chopped red, yellow and green bell peppers and fry all for 3-4 minutes until onions have browned and bell peppers are fried
- Add chopped tomatoes, stir and fry for 2-3 minutes
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala and cook it for 3-4 minutes while stirring continuously
- Add the chopped proteiz. Mix ingredients well and cook for 7-8 minutes
- Garnish with green coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
