Tofu is one of the best sources of plant-based protein. The easiest way to include tofu in your diet is by making tofu bhurji. Pair this delicious tofu bhurji with paratha or toasted bread. This recipe is made with a blend of Indian spices like turmeric powder and cumin powder to make it super delicious.

|Desi treat tofu||225g|
|Cumin Seeds||1/2 tsp|
|Onion(Chopped)||1 (medium size)|
|Ginger-Garlic Paste||1 tsp|
|Tomato(chopped)||1 (medium size)|
|Cumin Powder||1/2 tsp|
|Coriander powder||1/2 tsp|
|Turmeric Powder||1/4 tsp|
|Chilli Powder||1 tsp|
|Coriander Leaves||1/8 cup|
Open the can and discard the water from the can.
Squeeze water from 225 g of tofu and crumble it. Keep it aside.
Add1 tsp of oil to a pan
Add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds and wait till they pop
Add 1 chopped onion and 1 chopped green chilli and sauté them for a few minutes till it turn golden brown colour
Add 1 tsp of ginger and garlic paste and cook it for 2 mins
Add 1 chopped bell pepper and 1 tomato. Cook it for 2 mins
Add salt, 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 1/2 tsp coriander powder, 1/8 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of chilli powder. Cook it for 2 mins
Add crumbled tofu and cook it for 2 mins
Add 1 tsp of lemon juice and 1/8 cup of coriander leaves. Mix them well
Step 11Serve it hot with Paratha or Toasted Bread
