This activation process minimizes or eliminates enzyme inhibitors, phytates (phytic acid), polyphenols (tannins), and goitrogens (all of which were added by Mother Nature to prevent the precious seeds being eaten and digested). Our gentle drying process (at temperatures below 47ºC) ensures the seeds remain in their nutritious, raw state.
