Vegan Meat Burger

Lovers of tender and juicy meat burgers, who’re looking for healthier alternatives, have mostly had to switch to vegetarian burgers. While these burger patties are healthier than their meat-based counterparts, they are nowhere as tender, juicy or flavourful. This is where jackfruit meat comes in. It is an alternative to meat patties, which gives you a flavour and texture similar to that of meat patties, in a vegan form, which makes it healthier and tastier than both vegetarian and meat patties. These patties can easily be used to make delicious burgers right at home. Listed below are the steps for a recipe which you could follow as is, or tweak as per your preferences, to make a mouth-watering burger that’s truly your own.

  • Cut the following vegetables into thin slices
    • Bell Peppers
    • Tomatoes
    • Cucumbers
    • Onions
  • Take 2 tbsps of vegan butter
  • Let it simmer in a pan till it melts completely
  • Take the Wakao burger patties and heat them in the pan
  • Add more vegan butter for additional flavour and crispiness
  • Remove once they start turning brown
  • Cut the burger buns in half
  • Heat them on the pan with a tbsp of vegan butter
  • This keeps them from getting too dry!
  • Now stack all these delicious ingredients together
  • Add some lettuce for an additional dash of crispiness and health
  • Enjoy with your choice of condiments
